Husky and Cenovus Energy combined to create a stronger, more resilient energy company in January 2021. Based in Dublin, Ohio, Husky Marketing and Supply Company (HMSC) is now part of the Cenovus group of companies and oversees the sale, marketing and logistics activities for production at Cenovus’s refineries in Lima and Toledo, Ohio as well as Superior, Wisconsin.
The Lima Refinery produces gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, residual fuels and petrochemical feedstocks. It produces approximately two billion gallons of refined petroleum products annually, including approximately 25 percent of the gasoline consumed in the state of Ohio.
The Superior Refinery produces gasoline, diesel, asphalt and heavy fuel oils. Following a fire in April 2018, normal operations are expected to resume in 2023.
The Toledo Refinery produces gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, propane and asphalt.
Cenovus is continually looking at ways to increase the flexibility of the crudes the refineries run, the products they make and the markets accessed.
